Passionate payments professional and Quality Control Manager recognized for industry contributions

TEMECULA, Calif. – December 12, 2018 — Diane Driscoll, ETA CPP, Partner Underwriting Manager, National Merchants Association (NMA), has been selected as a participant in the Electronic Transactions Association’s (ETA) Young Payments Professionals (YPP) Scholar Program.

According to ETA, “The ETA YPP scholar program provides support, education, and opportunity to young payments professionals … ETA’s goal is to provide the elements needed to help our young payments professionals of today grow, build collegial relationships with a class of scholars, and meet with respected leaders from influential companies that matter to the future of payments innovation.”

Driscoll was chosen out of more than 50 candidates and is one of 10 Scholars chosen by ETA based on the potential to “succeed in the ETA YPP Program and in the payments industry more generally.”

Driscoll’s payments career began in 2015, when she first joined the NMA team. Shortly after, she became an active ETA member, receiving her ETA CPP certification in 2016. From there, she also joined two ETA committees, as well as the Merchant Acquirers’ Committee (MAC) and Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions (Wnet).

“This has been an outstanding year for Diane – one of the most critical members of the NMA team,” said NMA CEO, Heather Altepeter. “For nearly four years, Diane has poured her heart and soul into building a better company and industry, and we are so proud that she is getting the recognition she deserves.”
